An answer, given by Rabbi Isaac Klein (A Jewish Guide to
Jewish Religious Practice) might guide you.
Because the Shofar ought not be sounded on Shabbat (less the
breach of the Shabbat prohibition of carrying), the shofar is
technically not sounded during the Yom Kippur service which
ends with Neilah.
However, after the Maariv (Evening) service, when the holiday
and the Shabbat are over, many synagogues sound the shofar at
this time.
For those in doubt, check with the custom of your synagogue.
